The Acid Queens

Wow, this is going to be tough trying to get through the holidays and keep the blogging thing happenin'. YIKES!
Here is a picture that was taken by a photographer that worked for the St. Louis Post Dispatch. My girlfriend Linda and I met Peter Rudge, The Who's road manager back in '71 and then the following year he worked for the Stones. At the last minute, they decided to put on a second show and needed some battery acid. (Don't ask me why, but I think it had something to do with lifting the speakers on the stands are something like that. )Another close girlfriend of mine new someone who worked at a local K-Mart so we gave him a call, picked up the acid and drove to the venue. When we arrived, there were hundreds of people waiting outside the backstage door. A couple of roadies greeted us at the entrance and as we walked in Peter Rudge said, "Here they are, the Acid Queens!"

Thank you for referring to the writing process, the giving it up spiritual kind of enterprise that it is. I was surprised by your comment and so darn grateful. You placed your finger right on, where I couldn't and our author couldn't. It's essential, that objective view, absolutely. Thank you. I was too gleeful even to say it back to you right on Townshend's blog. Thank you (again).

Way cool acid queens for sure.

Pete has posted that the BASEMENT JAM - Four hour show will be looped starting 16:00 UK time Friday 9th December. Running 24/7 until further notice. So, I suggest a Sunday chat at Ballerina Gurl's. Please let me know what you think and if you would like to join us? I will be posting the time as soon as possible. Thanks!

Peace, love and light.
