Got My Thrill on Blueberry Hill
After working all day, my intensions were to have dinner with a couple of my girlfriends, support my husband's band and go to bed early. NOT! Chuck Berry got us up and rockin'. (That's me on the left of the stage ;) His band plays once a month at a really cool place called Blueberry Hill. One can only pray that Pete is still doing his job when he is 79 years old. What an awesome show! I'm sure "Ticket To The Beatles" helped to make the night extra special;)

Yes, I agree. How wonderful it would be to have Pete and Roger, up and running at 79....
Blueberry Hill is a good enough reason to visit Ol' St. Louie......
I would love to see Chuck Berry like that. He is fun to watch. I never have seen him in person. Likewise, he has never seen me. Not that he can't...he just doesn't know about that.
Dallas? My uncle is a pastor in San Antonio, my aunts (nuns) stay in Austin. They are quite older now.
The METHOD? Who can say??????
I certainly cannot!
I ran across a neat video of Keith Moon with John Bonham (Led Zep) in 1977 (?), both on drums at the same time in concert with the band...Jimmy Page, etc. If you'd like, I can forward a link.
Good Day to you,
--Dan L.
Would love to see you, when you come to NY!

Hey that's a pretty good song your husband wrote. I miss John Lennon. Wouldn't it be something if he was still around today. At least we still have his music.

Praying for your Mom...
Prayers for a peaceful passing for your Mother.
Prayers for strength for you and your family at this time.
My prayers are also reaching out to you.
Of course Pete and Roger will still be performing at 79. look at them now, they're still rockin' out.
If I ever visit St. Louis, I'll make sure to stop at Blueberry Hill.
Sorry to hear your bad news.
Keep your chin up.

Whoie Denise:
It seems you were able to say goodbye to her? I hope so. Our prayers are with you.
I lost my mother 44 years ago. It has never been the same.
Be strong, she is where she is supposed to be, now. We have our job to do.
Much Peace,
--Dan L.
Dan L speaks for me. Sending you my deepest thoughts and the wishes during these next few weeks.

Hi Denise,
I am so sorry to read about your mother's passing. It is never easy saying goodbye to a parent, and you're certainly never ready to do it. I lost my mother nearly six years ago now and it still seems like yesterday - the good news is that she lives on through her children and grandchildren, and in many ways is still with us. I hope in time you will feel the same positive strength through your loss.
Love, and take care. M x
Dear Denise,
I just read about your mom's passing, over at Rachel's blog, and wanted to send you hugs and love and good energy. Both of my parents are in heaven; they died in 2000 and 2001. I feel them with me every day. Your mom will always be with you.
Please take special care of yourself in these early grief days, and write/blog if you need to express anything. We are a good bunch.
Love,
Brina
