Cardinal Baseball

I've been a Cardinal fan since I was a little girl. My husband works the camera occassionally for FOX Sports Net and ESPN. That's him in the dug out at Busch stadium. Over the years, I've witnessed many exciting games there and my most memorable moment was in '66...the day I saw The Beatles. One of my best guy friends is Henry. That's the Jewish fella in the foreground. We're baseball buddies and have known each other since seventh grade. I'm sure I'll write more about him in future posts. Isn't She Cute?

This is a picture of my Lil Bits (aka Jesse)when she was a few weeks old. I've had three Minature Schnuazers and she is by far the sweetest. Hopefully, in four more years my husband and I will buy some land and move farther away from the city....and will have to get a couple of more dogs;)

A Little At A Time

Well, I'm finally getting a little extra time to figure out this blogging thing. LOL I thought I would begin with posting a link to my homepage. A few of you bloggers that are interested in The Who may want to check it out. I recently added a short Quicktime movie of an 8mm film of the band that was given to me back in '71. I'm pretty positive that only a handful of people have actually seen it. There is also a link to a Who cover band called The Who Show. They played at an event that took place before the 2004 Hollywood Bowl show. Anyway, I still have lots more work to do in order to get this blog site and my homepage together. At this rate, I'll be lucky if it's to my liking by this time next year.

Just FYI, I am the second girl from the left in the picture. The other three girls are my girlfriends that I have known for over thirty years. You might recognize the girl next to me on the far left from my pictures link on my homepage.

Missing Mom

It's past my bedtime. The Cardinals are up two games in the playoffs, my flowers are putting out some gorgeous final blooms, and it was a gorgeous day today. Then I spoke with my sister who lives in Dallas and is taking care of my mom. She told me that my mother is not doing so well since she got out of the hospital last weekend. Rachel F said to kiss your moms. I guess I'll have to do that in my dreams. Nite
